On the skyline of Doha, Burj Doha stands out as a distinctive structure and a focal point in Doha's central business district, West Bay. The tower, which is designed by internationally renowned architect Jean Nouvel in response to the vision of His Excellency Sheikh Saoud bin Mohamed bin Ali Al-Thani. We were approached to create a brand identity that would match the legacy of the tower.
Upon carefully studying the exterior facade of the tower and the vision of the tower, we developed a brand that is timeless, elegant and powerful. An icon of the tower was created using dots that were taken from the shapes found in the unique mashribiya. The typography is an elegant yet bold crafted font and the colour palette is one that was inspired by the colours of the often found in the beautiful Doha sunsets.
