Challenge
POW! WOW! is a non-profit organization, founded by Jasper Wong, of contemporary artists committed to community enrichment through the creation of art outreach programs, educational programs and engaging the community in the creation and appreciation of art. The festival was first held in Honolulu, Hawaii, before traveling to 17 cities worldwide. We were approached by Qatar Museums to create graphics for the first ever Middle East iteration of the festival, which was celebrated in Doha, Qatar.
Solution
With the chance to contribute to the country's art scene, we jumped at the opportunity to be part of this exciting project. We crafted a bold, impactful brand language, to highlight the diversity, and energy among the creative community in Doha. We rolled out the festival brand on lanyards, t-shirts, tote bags, face masks, festival programmes and social media campaign. The bold festival graphics complemented the stunning artistic styles of the 12 artists involved, and helped generate interest and bring footfall to this hugely successful festival.
